Born and raised in Los Angeles to parents immersed in the entertainment industry, Dionne knew at an early age she wanted to work in entertainment. Her first forays into fashion included Born to Rock, a line of children’s clothing inspired by vintage Rock n Roll screened mirrors. As Dionne’s creative costume design for burlesque (Velvet Hammer & Lucha Va Voom) gained more attention, she started receiving offers to work in Film and Television, officially launching her career in Style and Costume.

Dionne’s education influences her work, reflecting her love of community and culture. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from UCLA, one in Political Science and one in Anthropology with an emphasis on urban communities and South and Central American textiles.

Dionne was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her work as Assistant Costume Designer on the Netflix series Trinkets.

Today, Dionne lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and daughter and she is always excited when projects allow her to meet new people and travel to new places.
